If so, then now is the perfect time to join the US Micro Products team as a Buyer at our headquarters in Austin, TX.
We are seeking a professional to lead the Buying efforts for our fast-growing Display Solutions Company. As a Buyer for USMP, you will work closely and establish solid relationships with suppliers in Asia to ensure the timely delivery of products to our US customers. This role requires that you have attention to detail, are responsive in a timely manner, and that you are proactive. You will also need to be able to quickly resolve delivery, quality and supply issues and be comfortable working with constantly changing priorities. This position will require frequent phone calls to Asia, but very minimal travel. This is a full time position.

We are a franchised industrial distributor that combines exceptional technology, customer service and value to provide our customers with the perfect engineered display solutions. Our large spectrum of displays includes small character displays through large full-color TFT monitors and we provide a multitude of options including touch sensors and more.
Applications range from low volume custom designs to high volume consumer electronics. Our customers are OEMs in the medical, gaming, industrial, automotive, defense, instrumentation and kiosk markets and include Philips, GE Healthcare, Microsoft and many more.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Order Management:
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of the products to our customers at the right price - Supplier Management:
Build strong relations with suppliers - Customer Development:
Build good working relationships with customers
Measures of Success:
- Achieve delivery targets (accuracy, timely)

Additional Qualifications and Other Preferred Experience:

- Display knowledge (including LCDs)
- An interest in displays, technology and international business
- Background in manufacturing, distribution and/or electronics
- Mandarin
